The Divine Conspiracy

The Divine Conspiracy

My Take: Arguably the best treatment of the Sermon on the Mount and the Kingdom of God ever published. Dallas Willard hit it out of the park with this one. Warning: this is solid Biblical exegesis and will put meat on your bones. Don’t read it if you are not ready to be challenged in your thinking!  Having said that, I think very Christian needs to read this. The content covered is just too crucial to let slide. GBN Rating: ★★★★★   “A masterpiece and a wonder. The book I have been searching for all my life.” (Richard Foster)   Get The...

Ragamuffin Gospel

Ragamuffin Gospel

My Take: Lighting The Way Back The “Ragamuffin Gospel” is an expose’ of pure, unadulterated grace. In a world where we have watered down and humanized God’s greatest gift to man, this book is like a lighthouse pointing the way back. This is the best book I have read on grace. I look forward someday to meeting its author, Brennan Manning, and when I do I will fall down to the floor and kiss his feet. “How beautiful are the feet of him who brings good news!” GBN Rating: ★★★★★ Get Ragamuffin Gospel on Kindle “Brennan Manning does...

The AW Tozer Collection

The AW Tozer Collection

My Take: Tozer is Timeless A Revivalist in every sense of the word, A.W. Tozer  (April 21, 1897 – May 12, 1963) was a voice  crying in the wilderness to his generation.  He ministered for 44 years with the Christian and Missionary Alliance church–including 30 years as pastor of Southside Alliance Church in Chicago (1928 to 1959)– but his pulpit and pen have made a profound impact of the whole body of Christ. His message is timeless because it is focused on recovering and sustaining an intimate focus on God in a secular and religious culture full of distractions. View the AW Tozer Collection...
