The Global Orphan Crisis

The Global Orphan Crisis” by Diane Lynn Elliott is a comprehensive introduction to the world of at risk children, orphans, human trafficking and gender equality. All of these issues are inter-related, and author Diane Lynn Elliot does a tremendous job researching, informing and explaining these issues in a scholarly, encyclopedic fashion.

This is the single most informative and challenging book I have read on the subject, and I highly recommend it as a reference tool for concerned citizens and social entrepreneurs who want to grasp the full scope of the orphan crisis. Laced throughout the book are inspiring stories, calls to action, and questions to ponder.

Diane is a professional photographer, and includes in the center section of the book a wonderful collection of color glossy photos.

All in all, this book is an impressive work. I highly recommend it for its resource value.
